About

I am a PhD candidate at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) of the University of Amsterdam. My doctoral work is on Bernard Bolzano’s philosophy of mathematics, and it is part of prof. Arianna Betti’s eIdeas project.

Some news:

My thesis defence is scheduled for 12 January 2022, 4pm Amsterdam time (CEST). You can follow the live streaming at https://youtu.be/Iv3J-aNPvfw. The thesis itself is now available here. The beautiful cover was designed by fellow ILLC PhD candidate Bas Cornelissen. (January 2022)

I will be spending one semester in Vienna as an IVC fellow starting in March 2022. If you would like to get in touch for collaborations of any kind, I’d be delighted to hear from you. (January 2022)

‘Domain Extension and Ideal Elements in Mathematics’ has been published online-first in Philosophia Mathematica – Open Access, courtesy of the University of Amsterdam. (September 2021)

My paper on Bolzano’s Mathematical Infinite (with Guillaume Massas) is now online! Go check it out or email me for a preprint. (22 February 2021)
